Looks like you're getting somewhere, that's great.
But you forgot something important. Elona doesn't handle non-binary transparency. That translucent or anti-aliased edge on all the hair would not work as it seems.
It would come out something like this. Or with a different color than black depending on how you save it to BMP to work with the game.

So trim that back or morph it into a brown border slightly darker than the base to give a sense of edge/boundry.
