SDVX noob here

I only know of two sdvx games: K-Shoot Mania and Unnamed SVDX Clone. I've been playing Unnamed SVDX Clone for about 2 weeks now and have been experiencing some problems, such as performance issues when picking and choosing songs. Should I switch to Kshoot mania?

And I've been thinking about getting a controller for the game. Should I bite the bullet and buy one of the $160+ controllers? Does anyone even use the Pocket Voltex controller over the regular size ones?
