There was also this monument, from a German ambassador in the 30s gifted for similar reasons.

It's an interesting place. There was a group of maybe 20 men standing in front of the graves, singing together, heads lowered and hats off. I couldn't make out what they were singing, but there was a lot of reverence and respect there.
