Ending wise I imagine it'll be rather Madoka'ish bittersweet, Sonoko getting involved to take over as god, removing disabilities so they can enjoy their days but sacrificing heroes whole to be worshipped as guardian spirit gods after whatever period rather than crippled notwitch logs.
