Fair points, but not really what I was getting at. What I was saying is that G5's growth potential is extremely limited by this whole "Spiderman meets Elsa" collab hype business model, and that they are very likely going to fall off in popularity after the initial wave of hype wears off. Meanwhile, Fubuki, Korone, and Pekora (which have almost as many, or perhaps even more subs than all of G5 combined,) are expected to keep growing because they have much more going for them than "Oh wow, I can't wait to watch them collab with X!" Yes, initial donations and subs will be high with this WWE-level of hyping, but I expect to see some more "graduations" and a general decline in viewership as time passes.

As proof of what I'm talking about, compare Luna's subs to Kiryuu Coco's. Luna has just 274k subs presently, many of which are from other Hololive fans. To really put things in perspective, that's hardly any more than Botan has, despite having only just joined Hololive mere weeks ago. And what, precisely, is even the appeal of Himemori Luna? "She is a baby that collabs with a pedophile, haha funny and cute" is basically what she has going for her, so why even watch her channel's content? Meanwhile, Coco has twice her number. Whether you like her or not, she has gone out of her way to build a unique brand that is not overly-reliant on collabs.

They could make more money by uplifting the individual. But that isn't what Yagoo, or COVER in general, seems to want. They want quick money fast, instead of playing the long game and planting the seeds to build even more potentially million+ sub VTubers. While I respect the hustle, they are going to lose influence if they keep producing overly commodified "idol" e-girls instead of content that people actually want to watch. Some of them will do well, but many more will fail or experience very slow growth.
