Akiha's power works by absorbing the Odic force of a person. It seems like she's absorbing heat, and it's similar to doing that because she's taking their lifeforce. Basically eating their Prana. It's actually a power that seems common to the kishu/oni/demons, as SHIKI's MEoDP work on a similar principle of fracturing off pieces of Odic force and eating them. Roa didn't realize the difference between his and Shiki's abilities because LOLMEMORIES. Or maybe he was just being an arrogant douche like Alba and Gilgamesh.

So yeah.

Also, White Ren, why you do that? And to think, I remembered you as a cool guy. Well, when it finally got to the powerlevel debate you did well, but before that you just sounded butthurt, honestly. ಠ3ಠ
