I just do a quick and dirty estimation of actual posts with content taking 200 (autosage limit) as 100%.
This means that if in thread there are only 20 posts with content and the rest is an image flood, the thread only used the 10% of its potential so the next one is X.1, if in the next thread after that there are 80 actual posts, the percentage is 30% but the total would be 40%, (taking into account the last thread) so it'd be X.4. This continues until the decimal becomes 1.0 or when a thread hits autosage naturally.

And now that I think about it, 5.5 is too high, it should have been 5.4 or so.
