Nah. Mei shows Hanyuu as Hanyuu already in the ancient past. It has had a couple of references to the console arc stuff, but in the sense of it being wrong/unreliable information (like Rika initially believes from some scroll that the Onigari had been thrown into the swamp, like in Kotohogushi, but then it turns out it's actually in the shrine).

Hanyuu's memories themselves are unreliable too (although this excuse was there even in the original version of Kotohogushi).

Huh. The console version of Connecting Fragments outright states Saikoroshi is real.
