Just completed all 3 routes of Saya no Uta. I loved it but there are some obligatory plot-holes.

For me, the game slightly lost its footing when the Dr told Kouji that they can't tell the police because they won't believe them. This is a horrible old cliché and is used to terrible effect in most horror films. All they'd have to do is have her ring up and say "Help me, I just found body parts in my boyfriend's fridge and now he's trying to kill me, I live at [insert mad guy's address here]" and then hang up. The police HAVE to investigate every call, I know this as a fact. In fact, they could just go to his house, sneak in as many people seem to do, ring the cops, hang up then run away.

They even shoot themselves in the foot about this later on when they say "it was only a matter of time until the body parts were found in Fuminori's fridge". Well, duh, no shit! Why didn't you speed up the inevitable before things got even more fucked?

The other thing that I remember finding odd is that, OK, I understand that Fuminori senses things differently, but things still retain their shape. An axe is still axe-shaped, the furniture is still the same shape. If not visibly (though they usually are) then at least to the touch. He can't feel a "disgusting" feeling from a humans skin if there's no skin actually there, right? And yet he still feels Saya and Yoh to be human shaped. He still feels breasts where there are none. I don't just mean he gets the sensation of things, but he can actually map them out in 3D with his hands. That made no sense to me either.

Lastly, in the ending when Saya releases all the spores. It's totally inconceivable that she could release enough to infect the whole world, or even enough to infect enough people to then go on to infect the whole world.

Anyone agree? Still, all said, I recommend the shit out of this (albeit in a slowpoke way).

I liked the CG that panned to the left, of Doc with her Sawn-off.

The ending if you choose to see normally again was very touching as well.
