It was strictly a result of the two powers colliding. Ciel's sword vs Arc's automatic retaliation. Don't be dumb anon. It can't be more clear cut.

I never said that. Obviously Arc was sandbagging. But that still doesn't mean anyone other than Ciel would have been able to fight ARC at that time. The fact Ciel was taking fatal damage outpacing her regeneration from over 30 meters away means that having an extremely broken kind of immortality to the degree where taking damage doesn't diminish your further performance is something that's non negotiable against Arc.
