And the Internet has even more websites dedicated to making fun of terrible fanfiction, to the point where "fanfic" as a word on its own can be considered a joke right there. And there's always the paranoid thought in the back of my head that someone would just want it to post it around to laugh at it and the preson who wrote it. It just has a terrible stigma against it, which is what makes me so nervous. We've already had one person saying "fuck fic, art and drawing is the only true way", I'm sure many more feel the same way.
