News:
-The Winter 2017 event will be a relatively small scaled event starting on February 11. Matsukaze will be one of the new ships implemented for this event.
-Setsubun lines (around 150, including over 40 new lines), sprites (including 4 new sprites for Kazagumo, Akashi, Uranami and Commandant Teste) and furniture have been implemented, replacing January and winter furniture and winter voice lines.
-Three new quests have been added. One is a limited time setsubun sortie quest rewarding a setsubun furniture, one is a limited time setsubun factory quest rewarding a furniture worker, and one is a 5-5 quest rewarding a Reinforcement Expansion.
-The twice daily matching of Exercise opponents has been revamped. There are now three methods of choosing opponents which must be chosen by 2 hours before a refresh for it to apply after the refresh: Exercise Fleet Group 1 (higher level enemies, more experience points), Exercise Fleet Group 2 (lower level enemies, more suitable for exercises), and Old (the previous method). Exercise Fleet Groups 1 and 2 may be updated in the future.
-The maximum ship/equipment slot counts have been increased to 320/1380.
-Libeccio now drops at nodes I and J in 4-5. Zara is now available from Large Ship Construction (group 3), with either Libeccio or Pola as the secretary ship.
-Arashio at level 67 gets a blueprint Kai 2, which comes with a daihatsu and can equip tanks.
-Zara is slated for a Kai 2 this winter or early spring. Saratoga will also get a second remodel.
-The 5th year of KanColle will see foreign ships from "interesting places".
-New submarines, Akizuki- and Matsu-class destroyers, and escort carriers are also under plans to be added.
