From a psychological point of view. why does /jp/ brag about being a hikikomori? It is clearly not a healthy thing to pride yourself on and seems almost self destructive. It absolutely baffles me why anybody would pride themselves on something with such negative connotations.

Has Touhou as a franchise reached a critical mass, meaning that if Zun were to give licencing rights to make an official OVA out of it, the majority of fans would be utterly disappointed after seeing it no matter how good it were (we are talking Disappearance good here).

I for one would still hope for 7 episode long high quality OVAs with insane production investments for every part of the series. OTOH, I'm fan of both grimdark and moeblob versions of everything.
