Very likely. It can't be the usual Rika because she's not a part of this story anymore. And it can't be Bernkastel (yet) because she was already pretty smug even in Higurashi and I can't imagine her being so scared. It's human Rika with the mind of an 11 year old, moments before being taken over by Bern.

Speaking of human Rika, I always wanted to know what she's like. Hanyuu described her briefly in a TIP and also said she was already pretty weird due to Hanyuu teaching her things. But I always wondered how innocent she really was. It's clear that whenever "Rika" is trying to hide her true personality, she fakes being innocent too hard and comes off as an autist. I bet she never did that before her first death, so her friends probably find her really weird whenever "Rika" enters a new world and starts faking her reactions in an exaggerated way. Rika is terrible at imitating her original self and doesn't realize she's overdoing it.

More than anything, I want to see human Rika laugh for real like a cute loli and actually mean it. "Rika" never laughs even once in the entire series, she just nipaahs because she's dead inside.
