What do you mean? Hashihime is literally the book he wrote, that's how he became "famous" in the first place. He's actually talking with his publisher and he mentions Kyuuusaku wrote Dogra Maga years ago and then disappeared. Real Tamamori actually has talent, he's a genius, he used the disappearing Kyyusaku Yumeno in his own story.
The story is not happening in 1922, you are playing as 31 years old Tamamori self-inserting himself into his book/fantasy (The actual timeline is never explicit so it's hard to define when the book actually dropped) Notice how he still is living in the shop and he's not an editor, also the war already happened and Kaoru is there.
Remember Blue-eyes young Tamamori actually tried to go back in time before he fights the shopkeeper and he doesn't work anymore. His illusionary world is slowly coming apart, hence he pretty much kills the shopkeeper with his mind and teleport himself from Ikeda's manor (Who is actually alive) to his room in the studio.
