If you get the summon spirit spell to a high enough level you can kill them for lots of exp. Meteor is the best spell to kill them quickly off and I usually get around 5 to 6 levels for each spirit batch I summon. Since all this can be done in seconds you can gain levels pretty fast. Your only wall will be spell stock though but if you check in with all your magic vendors for wonder scrolls like every 4 in game days you can start to stockpile stock.

Aside from this, panic quests are really good because the monsters in them are high level leading to decent exp.
