Wrong. It cuts any timelines that don't have branching potential anymore. Those timelines in the Trunk have "average" values since their outcomes aren't biased toward positive or negative valence. Remember what Goetia said in FGO part 1 ? Humanity still have to suffer a lot in Panhuman History.
