Terashima is a fucking piece of shit but his work in Muramasa is quite good. I try not to think so much about the VA's history if I could help it.

Without giving out spoilers, Kageaki has a mixture between being a socially awkward autist and a chad at the same time. Because of how the story works out on these fluctuations, it's pretty fun.
Muramasa is quite long so you won't be able to see much of his personality until you get past the first chapter. Imo one of the best parts of the writing is the humor and how unique Kageaki is compared to a lot of other protagonists. The fandisk and side story aren't written by the original author unfortunately.
