There's nothing (/v/faggot term) about her dress. It just has two base colors, some details around the sleeves and collar, a few bands of details encircling the skirt, and a little pattern near the chest to make the dark part not be boring. The leaf/cocoon part might be a little big, but it's one of those kinds of details that can be omitted from a character's fanart and doesn't really take away from the dress on its own. It's necessary for that transition between larva on the bottom and imago on the top. I think that ZUN making it look seperate from the dress was a better idea than making it look like it was part of the pattern.

Arcades are massivly addictive.

I spend sometimes entire days in Akiba just walking from Arcade to Arcade playing UFO Catchers machines, Racing games, Light gun games and rythm games.

I would really love to work in such a gamestation myself, I wonder if that would be possible for a foreigner with good japanese knowledge. The payment is probably minimum wage but it would be so much fucking fun.
