There are loud, obnoxious Japanese otaku in Akiba -- that much I know for sure. However, they're outnumbered by the obnoxious gaijin otaku, mostly because the Japanese otaku are 80% shut-ins, and gaijin are probably like that in their home country too, but they're in their paradise, so of course they're going to be retarded. And if you think about it, Japanese otaku have also lived in their paradise for their whole lives, so the need to be OMFGKJJFDGHOISAUDOI SASUKE HEADBAND would eventually die off.
