I just figured out how winged Automatons could work. They just need to fold them in as sideskirt armor like Gore Magala-chan here.

Well I forgot to use " marks on the words instincts, but the scenario was more like the mother and daughter were leading him onward. He also lacked any real bias towards them since he'd only trained for tradition's sake due to peace times and "just in case" reasons. It ultimately ended up as a heart-warming scenario since the mother technically came back to life

The big question is whether he becomes her husband or the daughters? I hadn't thought of that part till today since I was more focused on the happy reunion aspect.

I know little of the universe as a whole, sorry. All I can tell you here is what you can find on the wiki (http://monsterhunter.wikia.com/wiki/Gore_Magala)) and that at least for the daughter she hasn't reached her final, golden form: the Shagaru Magala.
