Absolutely! Futo is egregious but exemplary of this. I’ve tried writing her “normally,” but sooner or later her “voice” in my brain ends up twisting my elbow, and what comes out – is what you see. Happens consistently. It’s something I, in true Japanese fashion, have not been able to help.

The Satori story chanced at the very purplest of my phases. It had plenty of fancyfication for the sake of fancyfication, thinly veiled in the protagonist’s (and the narrator’s) circumstance. This is something I can only own up to these days. But hey, it’s an experience, as my self-insert from KuroYamHaNoGo eloquently puts it in a less savoury of her appearances, right? Progress is plodding and chiselled out of whatever happens underhand. Underfingers? Not underfoot, I ought to hope.

Unlikely! For the percentages, if I had to gauge, it’s 85% fluff, 15% drama.

Hello. It’s me, Mr. Shit-At-Responding T. O. Feedback. I’m sorry for continued hijackal this thread, but it would’ve sat wrong with me to leave the (very welcome) response unreciprocated. Have a Yamnurse on me.
