Aogi was born into a gladiator slave's life since she was a young girl. While she's a very talented and dangerous fighter, she's extremely docile and subservient, especially to humans. For her entire life all she has done was fight or train to fight. She's not from gensokyo, but from an alternate dimension where Onis exist and are bred in captivity and used as slaves or "entertainment" such as in gladiatorial deathmatch sports by humans.

She carries around a sword which she uses expertly. She wears fur pelts along with her gladiator armor since the place she comes from is normally extremely cold.
