The lexical question is easier to answer. I’m an English SLA with fewer pre-existing connotations in my lexicon, so it is easier for me to weave words in uncommon ways. There are a few subtler mechanisms in employment, like sporadic alliteration, the occasional use of poetic meter and such, but these are ancillary. The main tool has been a linguistically loose mind and a lot, A LOT of input. Which is to say, books. Many, many books, from which I’ve stolen any and all words, sentence structures and turns of phrase that appealed. But I’m told that’s how language acquisition works, so that’s fine.

Right?

>are you a woman?
Fully en-dicked and old-fashioned here, so no. Being a fantasy and 40kunt also means I don’t peruse harlequins or the like. And, posting on here, you can probably guesstimate my real-life romantic experience. How all of that sums up to becoming a mainstay romance (and pornography) writer, I cannot tell you. It is a mystery.

Guess I just really, really love the 2hus? The most beloved of which I never happen to write. Hrm.

Here’s a Yam who’s as confused as I am.
