>So I was recently banned from bemaniso.ws for being "racist" for posting the incarceration rates of black people to prove a point. Even though it was not my intent to do so or to be racist, this visibly triggered numerous people, which in addition to my use of a pepe avatar led many people to believe I was a racist. Of course, pepe was a meme long before /pol/ turned him into a hate symbol, but this wasn't an acceptable argument to most people.
>After getting banned on the discord and warned on the site for being racist(TIL facts are inherently racist), both a week after the fact and even though I hadn't done anything on the site, I got pissed. I posted in the discord thread very assertively explaining my point explaining that it was impossible for me to be racist. My rationale was entirely ignored, and I was assailed only by shitposters who were sarcastic and dismissive. Proof enough, perhaps, that I was correct and they couldn't refute it.
