3d is much easier then drawing imo (cant draw worth shit but have been doing cgi stuff for years).

Pick a program maya/max/blender/whatever then work through the intro tutorials in the program or/then grab the intro video from digital tutors. Move on to more advanced tutorials while making shit yourself in between.

Fyi don't expect to start off making humanoids, they are pretty advanced.
