It's rarely brought up, but she's not entirely pleased with herself as the hakutaku.

Have to wonder why, though. Long life, mystical powers, horns and fluffiest tail ever seen doesn't sound so bad.
Or perhaps turned on its head, having to watch people around you grow old and die long before you, powers that might frighten others and come with a good deal of responsibility, and the social pressures that come with physical abnormality.

Guess being the hakutaku is awesome for everyone but the hakutaku.
