I used to follow nnd utaite's all the way back in 2009/2010 until they started becoming vtubers.
What's funny about the japanese side of the internet, is that on /jp/, it was seriously never talked about.
Sometimes I felt like the only utaite fan on 4chan, because absolutely NOBODY would talk about japanese streamers on niconico here. I felt so lonely, and now that vtubers came along I have people to talk to.
The only place outside of the japanese forums I found people with similar interests was osu! but it's filled with too many bratty kids.
