This is shown during the factory scene where her family is killed before her, before finally ending with her. So.
- Knowing this to be the case, I find it to be likely that the factory scene played out here was the ending of WWIII, not the ending of where the story is headed. The factory world already exists, and they are inside of it. They are experiencing an infinite number of simulations in which the factory ends humanity. Humanities time before the next loop can be prolonged by resetting humanity back to square 1 and stop them from creating the technology required to create the factory to begin with.
- A version of Mom 34 has found a way to bring herself to each new iteration of the simulation, and is attempting to stop the cycle forever.
- Meanwhile, the other Mom 34 is taken to the lab, is labotomised, and is made to work on the advancement of technology. It's likely that this Mom 34 also had the "prophecy" of the factory as a child, but has had it forcefully taken from her memory during the labotomization.
- Also worth noting, Seshat is able to manipulate people's memories.

Re-reading the part where Mario kills off the 8MS, something struck me.
When Mario tried to kill himself, the angel girls there shot off his hand in am attempt to stop him. He laughs and says they wont keep him forever.
Sounds like the scientists who come here aren't only working on new technology because they want to, they are being forced to do it and are lobotmized in a way that makes them crazy about their work. Vier herself is likely a victim of this as well. I don't think "insane scientist" is her real personality. It's not like she's the leader down there, she's just another scientist being used to advance human technology. To translate God's wisdom until eventually, the factory is created.
