To be honest I didn't think that there still was a Dragonforce fanbase. Even nearly 10 years ago at their most popular they were considered to be the Limp Bizkit of Powermetal. If it was supposed to be a way of winning over more metalheads it's not gonna happen, not with Dragonforce.

If anything I'd love to see them collaborate with Japanese metal bands & artists, even if technically Babymetal itself a sort of collaboration between dozens of people.

It'd be great exposure for whoever collaborates with them, just look at Kiba of Akiba I would have enver heard of them if it weren't for Babymetal. I want to hear new bands, I don't hear Dragonforce or Korn or Metallica or Linkin Park again. I guess maybe it's more of away to get Japanese fans exposed to western metal, but it could go both ways I think

>You think it is normal to come out of a coffin?

You know it's not actually real coffins, right? There is literally nothing evil about death. At most, it might seem scary to some, but in Buddhist cultures death is merely a new beginning, a rebirth. Them coming out of the coffins means that they are reborn from pop idols to metal-pop sings. That's all it is.

>Normal to put a fox face on a statue of Jesus having him make the horns symbol? (oh, its the "fox" not horns...riiiiiiiiight.)

That's not Jesus, and yes those are Fox ears.

>You think it is normal to have a huge statue of Our Blessed Mother on stage and to come out from inside her?

Again, that's not the virgin mary. It's a representation of the fox-deity, and they have to come out on stage somehow.

>You think it is normal to have a satanic pentagram on your album cover and have it NOT be something evil?

There is no pentagram on their cover.

>Don't be naive. There is something evil about this band, about the people running it and promoting it.

0/10, your last post was much better.

>Babymetal is a melody-driven pop-metal fusion band

At what point did you guys go:

>You know what people who enjoy melody-driven pop-metal would also enjoy? The sound of guitars being put through a washing machine's rinse cycle while a guy gargles into a microphone

Yeah we'll definitely be seeing more Babymetal. They were able to juggle both that and Sakura Gakuin for the last couple of years since they weren't a worldwide phenomenon yet and only did a couple of shows in Taiwan and Singapore, as well as within Japan.

As much as it'll be bittersweet to see them leave Sakura Gakuin, that means more Babymetal and I'm all for that.
