He has the advantage of being able to recognise the words since he knows most of the kanji before hand.

the onyomi vs. kunyomi shit will come natural to him. If you stick with kanji study it makes learning vocab pretty fucking easy and his retention rate proves that.

All that is left for him to do is to set up a mining deck so that he can add new words he never came across before and repeat ad nauseam however this process for him will be autistically fast.
