Guys I'm going to student exchange in Kyoto next year. How do I go about mining sentences I hear people saying around me? Does anyone here have experience recording people without their knowledge for mining purposes?
Also I heard Japanese people talk to you in English out of the blue. How do I avoid that as much as possible to maintain ajaat? Do you think those face masks would help?
