Here's a thought regarding the differences between manga/anime Nekodamashi.

The manga is currently just showing more buildup, fragments that happened between Tataridamashi and the anime's Nekodamashi Akasaka fragment. Rika will get her memory buff, probably right before she ends up in a Akasaka fragment, and the plotlines converge again.
