There's a place for both, I think. Even taking them from architectural engineering to mechanical engineering, I always though of Anubi as more of a 'restoration' type mechanic; taking things that are designed well or look good and maintaining/restoring them to peak preformance. Gremlins are the tinkerers. They'll rip the guts out of a car, drop in a new engine, cooling system, exhaust, and do body work to squeeze as much power out of that sucker as possible.

It also helps that your average Gremlin has a personality comparable to a Jackass stunt man.

Sorry my mind hit "Sneaking up on an Anubis Mechanic buried in a maintenance hatch, and eating her out while she works", and refused to budge another inch.

I'd rather a delinquent Anubis who is good with machinery.

Who needs muscle when you have mind and metal?
And a caboose that'd put a freight train to shame.
