It's hard to give you a solid answer before you turn out your first one and get an idea of the overall cost of parts and labor. If you're making custom masks that can get dropped and be fine, or something premium like that, i think you'd have more of an audience than if you tried to compete with generic maskmakers overseas. It's all about getting the most out of your money, as >>35992962 said, but you'll be able to provide more reliable, faster shipping than some dude in china, and english communication will obviously be easier, so it's not like you have nothing going for you.
