/jp/ - Otaku Culture

Just finished Winter Nights - there were some tough parts, but overall it was an enjoyable read. Not at all suited for the VN format though (only valid adaptations I see is stage or radio play). There's way too much long winded monologues during the dialogue, and really it's more focused on the narrator character than the girl.

Art - 6/10 I like the backgrounds but the character sprite is very kind of amateurish, and very lacking in variety of expressions

Story/Characters - at it's premise it's a love story, but I'm sure many /jp/sies will find the protagonist on many levels.

Music - non-existant, but undertandable

Overall, 3 fingernails out of 10. One for the confusing as fuck intro, one for the equally confusing (and long) as fuck monologue the protagonist goes into the second night, and one more for the rage inducing ending.

But overall, it was a nice discovery. But VN wrapper itself is almost completely superfluous.
