the only people who thought ange's main role was supposed to be a super cool detective who uncovers all truths were the ones who insisted mystery was still the focus of umineko even when episode 4 made it clear her character was about dealing with trauma and the nature of magic. but i'm not surprised by this coming from the people who couldn't take the hint even after erika showed up and made a fool out of herself by treating the family's tragedy like a game for her to win.
