The trick to enjoying NEETdom is utilizing your free time to learn various crafts or trades that make you feel good. If you just play video games all day every day, I think your psyche will start to crack a little bit without some form of productivity. Stuff like sewing plushies, programming, building and painting gunpla. Things like that. You can even make a bit of easy money on the side if you become good enough at them, so at least you don't have to mooch off your parents or something.

I recently got into HAM radios and those are a lot of fun to learn if you're autistic like me and enjoy studying what makes things tick. A fun little project I did was building an antenna a few days ago that can hit a repeater up to a range of about 50 miles away. I plan to build one that can pick up LEO satellites next and hopefully pass my licensing test so I can start transmitting and get a callsign.

It does get a little lonely sometimes, though. I don't have anyone to share my exciting developments with except myself and you guys sometimes. I've always thought it'd be nice to have a partner to do things with or who shared a genuine interest in these things, but people like that are rare or already have somebody they do everything with.
