Don't worry about your character choices. None are broken or useless, and I think it's fair to say your choice won't matter against anyone you'll meet here, though some characters might be harder to get a hang of than others.

Damn, that could've been a lot more fun without that horrible lag. GGs nevertheless. Nice to get a chance to de-rust my Cirno a bit.

I wonder how it would've ended up in a more lag-free environment, judging by your skills you were probably held back by the lag just as much as I.

Also, it seemed to me like you haven't played against Cirno that much, falling often for that 5C, the 5-card ice cube and so on, allowing me some easy victories here and there. Given time you could've probably figured them out properly, which would've made things a lot harder for me.

GGs aki, a bit shorter session this time since it's getting pretty late.

I'll need to experiment more with Cirno's alt skills, especially that 22 proximity bomb. It seems that even if I manage to pin you in the corner, you can just wait and block anything I throw at you without having to worry about guard crush.

Those timestop spellcards you use are pretty interesting to fight against, although you did find an easy way to punish my alt.214 Ice Kick.

Also, GGs for our previous session as well, since the thread died while we played.

GGs Pyonta-kun. That inconsistent lag was making it really hard to concentrate. That, and my headache. Not really all that pleasant a combination.

Anyway, you really should block more overall, especially on wakeup but I also caught you quite often with my Ice Charge. Also, it's not often I get to experience the pleasure of Cirno mirrors, so thank you for that.

Ustuho has ridiculously long melee range compared to Cirno's shortest melee of the game. Longer ranged attacks are often too slow and will get 5A'd. Cirno's bullets are very fragile and are easily countered by a fireball. An exception is Icicle Lance, which eats through Utsuho's fireball, Hell Wave Cannon and other powerful attacks.

I don't say it's a broken matchup, but it requires a ridiculous amount of concentration to avoid a 3K+ combo because of a small slip. Utsuho and Cirno are worlds apart; one has very powerful bullets, fast and long-ranged melee but is generally slow and bulky, the other has very fragile bullets with inexistant damage, very short melee range but a great mobility.

Don't know, really. It's probably that I never use IRC anyway, so I didn't bother to start just for this game. Besides, I really like this system where the host will just announce their IP, and after the games there's GGs and general analysis of the matches, tips are shared but nothing more. /jp/ has been a great community for netplay, especially when Hisoutensoku first came out.
