Also, the Automaton profile seems to indicate that they were created by aliens, as the mana remaining in their drive sections did not belong to either humans or monsters and presumably wasn't any known mana since they couldn't identify it. Also, their skin and armor were said to be made of "unknown materials not of this world". So it's possible by now to include aliens in the setting.

There's an item in WG3 that shows the world as round. So by KC comments and that item the world is round, insanely larger than Earth, with a much bigger population than RL humanity, but the world is so big that their population density is also much smaller, gravity is caused by some sort of great earth elemental and similar to Earth's and the world can't really be called a planet. No idea what's the result of gathering all this together.
