My first Touhou game was UFO

I went on to 1 cc it and several others.

Now I'd like to play a VN, but not one of the mainstream ones that many people played as their first. Can someone name me a recently translated VN that's decent? Pic not related, Fate/Stay Night is too well established to be my first.
