The timing might be a bit hard at first, but it works everywhere except if your back is to the corner. Here's a variation that works absolutely everywhere for only half your spirit and 2.9k damage:

66A 2B 2Y 3 5AAA2A 8C(ascension)

I personally think hitting someone with a 66A is ten times more likely in a real match than hitting someone with a point-blank 5A...
