Did you know that poppies, especially in modern European culture have a close association with death?
Poppies require a lot of phosphorus to prosper, and bones are mostly made from calcium phosphate- Perfect phosphorus fertilizer.

For this reason, after large battles with lots of casualties, a field of poppies often springs up after a year or two, covering the whole area in a deep blood red!

Isn't that interesting? Yuukarin was with us even in our darkest hours!
