yeah, the shift in 4chan ethos toward generals is a major problem. but complaining about vtubers is basically just complaining that /jp/ isn't /2hug/. what is "otaku culture" changes over time and to refuse the "new things" side of that cycle is to stagnate and die. gachimuchi is basically /v/ at this point, JAV is about a half dozen different boards, VN and gacha discussion is more active on /vg/. if we only ever lose things, we're just like /mlp/ mining the same global-rule-protected property dry day in day out with occasional breaks to brag about our newest overpriced rubber sex toys.
anyway, I'll take a shion, she'd probably be easy to please
