So I'm going along, struggling, reloading saves, ect.. And then these rats pop out on dream island and one has 400 health.

.......I could easily kill it with Rouga, but that's two or three turns of no Rouga on the front lines, which would at this point destroy me. Is there something I was supposed to do but didn't, or the other way around to avoid these rats?

This first run is a failure but I'm salvaging it as long as I can so I've got a better grasp of how everything works, what I should avoid, ect. It'd be useful to know how to avoid these rats on my second run.
