Not a single mention. Closest thing was Waga saying he became a T8 fan after repeatedly working with them in AnDare. Though they did power through the game to the point they even summarized the last hand (they summarized maybe 7/8s of the game, which apparently lasted 3 hours), so they might've discussed it, but if they did, it was cut out.

What did happen though, was that despite him always coming in fourth in the show, and even getting dropped in the red so hard he cried once, Waga won this game with a wide margin. The winning team (NMB v T8) was supposed to win an all-you-can-eat at some fancy yakiniku restaurant, but Waga going out to dinner with Yamada would've been scandal worthy, as he himself implied (plus, I may add because I'm a pathetic shipper, Rinrin would get jealous), so Yamada went alone. In other words, Waga practically won a free all-you-can-eat Yakiniku dinner at Jojoen for Yamada.
