Touhou needs a third person shooter. No idea how they'd do it but I'd like one.

I know it won't be on the same scale graphically but I'd enjoy social links and persona fusing in Gensokyo. Throw in a protagonist you can name and you got it.

Very few things Touhou related are original, usually just a parody or rip off of something else, no matter who makes it.

I've always wanted to prove that something useful can come out of the western Touhou fanbase. I'm skilled in Basic, VB, C#, and I know enough C++ to get by. I can compose and synth music pretty well, especially when I'm not charged with writing it from scratch. Not much of an artist or writer, though.

However, every idea I've had and every team I was part of went nowhere. The GM inspired, Dr. Doujin lead VN dissolved faster than an antacid. The SDM platformer was so lame I just stopped caring.

Starting an RPG in ika off some idiot's suggestion was not a good move. So fucking limited, and I don't feel like rewriting the god damn engine. Even worse, every time I try and start a different one, I think of ideas of how to make this one better.

I, quite honestly, suck at trying to create a true to form danmaku game.

I still refuse to let the cause die, though.

tl;dr: Do any of you fags have latent ideas, or is /jp/ really just a dustbowl full of trolls and whining nowadays?

I got quite i nice collection of Touhou pics but there is one thing i lack, Touhou Avatars (img with 100 x 100 or 200 x 200)

- Embodiment of Scarlet Devil (TH06)
- Imperishable Night (TH08)
- Phantasmagoria of Flower View (TH09)
- Shoot the Bullet (TH09.5)
- Mountain of Faith (TH10)

Basically, start with PCB then go back to EoSD, then continue onwards with IN in chronological order.

Feel free to play IaMP whenever you want, though you'd want to at least finish EoSD and PCB before playing the fighter.

Most people who play IaMP NOT on a keyboard use a Saturn/Saitek pad, but I'm not sure how it would be with Melty Blood.
