Besides, I've studied Japanese since I was 7 and I'm saving money to live in Japan for the rest of my life.

Every country has a bad side.
Sure, Japan might have the worst of them all, but if it wasn't Japan it'd be some other country.
Japan has come much further than China and North Korea today when it comes to democracy, and I can't see Japan apologizing to China and North Korea aslong as these countries have their current governments.
Going to the shrines is a part of the Shinto religion, and to restrict people from visiting the shrines would be the same as restricting people from practicing their religion.
