I think Vier went into the simulation (higurashi) in order to "activate" Eua. Remember the scene where she tells Satoko "I first alighted in this fragment upon your touch". She may have entered the digital world in order to do this, but something fucked up when transferring her consciousness to the digital world causing her to lose her memory. For whatever reason she's using Satoko as her digital avatar. It's also possible that takano is her digital avatar and she was "supposed" to awaken Eua but Satoko ended up doing it by chance, and that Eua assumes that Satoko is Vier because that's who she's expecting to "awaken" her but that's just a shot in the dark with no evidence.
I think she's called "anomalous spinal cord experiment" because it's an experiment where they're trying to replicate Koshka's "gift" which is implied to have something to do with the factory world/VR heaven. I think Koshka's "gift" is the "anomalous" part, and that this is a test at creating a simulated world within a human brain, which is likely what Koshka's "pandora's box" is.

>What exactly is a Hanyuu logic error?
If the Ciconia simulation works as theorized it basically creates multiple scenarios based on known historic facts and discards/resets any simulation that deviates from history. If Higurashi is one of these same simulations, I think the GHD may have been a historical event in the "real world" (where Blue Miyao is from). The facts known about this event, like Rika's death, are like Miyao killing Lingji: its a "prophecy" that will absolutely 100% of the time come to pass. I think Hanyuu got too attached to the characters in the simulation, and gave Rika the power to keep retrying until she survives, despite knowing that Rika surviving is impossible. This creates the "broken gameboard " that Lambda talks about in episode 5, which she later refers to as the logic error. Rika must die or the simulation does not confirm to history, but now because of the new "rule" hanyuu added, Rika must also survive. These are contradictory, thus producing a logic error in the form of a gameboard with an illogical and impossible win condition. Rika escapes the loop in the original higurashi when Hanyuu decides she doesn't want to sit on the sidelines anymore, so she inserts herself into the gameboard so that she can make it deviate from "prophecy", and allow Rika to live happily. SotsuGou is a repeat of that gameboard except now Eua is there to make sure Hanyuu can't break history to save Rika again.

I am utterly overwhelmed by the scope of what there is to theorize about in Ciconia. I realize that Umineko and even Higurashi were somewhat easier because they were less spread out, if that makes sense. I know this is only Phase 1, but the only thing I'm convinced of is that Miyao is either the devil or the anti christ since he was standing at the top of a 666 meter tower at the beginning, and that he's programmed to end the world. This isn't much. I thought I was ahead of the curve for being able to more or less solve Umineko by the end of EP3 but it turns out that I'm lacking in general culture and biblical references.

I tried looking at documentaries about Storks yesterday, and one funny thing I noticed is that their cries is kinda similar to gunfire. I suppose this was intentional on Ryukishi's part, and I genuinely love the idea
