Yeah, i think theres creative freedom with how the tentacles work unless i missed the official lore, i see them being depicted as completely detached/separate in other fanart so i made it as if the tentacles have some mind of their own and are assisting her in good faith, a bit over estimating Priestesses flexibility.

If you think about it the tentacles on octopuses and such have some motor movement brains in them, they still wriggle when chopped off, so i guess its within canon boundaries.
